Year Information: Thirty eight Coronation Class Pacific locomotives were built between 1937 and 1948 to haul the heaviest LMS expresses. The Hornby model is fully liveried in the lining and lettering of the period and captures the essential beauty of the class. The tender mounted Ringfield Silver Seal motor reproduces the impressive hauling power of this locomotive which is now preserved at Bressingham Hall in Suffolk. Finer scale wheels, a fully detailed cab, separate handrails and illuminated headlamps complete this excellent model.
