2001 | Spanning over 75 years the Dean Goods locomotives proved themselves to be veritable workhorses and were able to use all the Great Western lines. It was therefore no surprise that a number of them were retained after Nationalisation. This new Hornby model is the only one of its class to carry the lined BR livery. The model is representative of the class at that time and would not be out of place on a layout based on that period. The model is powered by a ringfield motor located in the tender. |
