Model Catalogue Information

YEAR INFORMATION
2000 There were 35 diesel shunters of this type built by Andrew Barclay and Co. of Kilmarook, Scotland in 1958. Even their 20,000lbs tractive effort was not enough to keep them from the cutters torch tow decades later. However, had they remained in service it is quite possible that they would have been re-liveried in the Sub-Sector colours as the Hornby model. Powered by a Type HP motor.
