The model is powered by a ringfield motor and can pick up current either from the running rails or from an overhead supply through the pantograph on the roof. |
1997 | The Class 86 is modelled here in the striking livery of Rail Express Services (1994 onwards) which nicely emphasises the details of body, chassis and bogies. The model features a working pantograph that can pick up power from the Hornby overhead power system. The model can also take power from the track in the conventional fashion. It is driven by a ringfield motor. |
