YEAR INFORMATION
1996 Many of the West Countrys were re-built in the 1950s and through to the early 60s, however Bideford continued in traffic fully streamlined up until its withdrawal in 1967. The Hornby example is liveried in SR Malachite green and powered by a Type 7 motor.
1997 Bideford was one West Country that escaped the general rebuilding of the class in the fifties and through to the early sixties. This locomotive which entered service in December 1945 continued fully streamlined until withdrawal in 1967. The model presented in S.R.s malachite green livery of the 1945-48 period and is powered by a Type 7 motor.
