1994 | The 30 Kings introduced from 1927 were the most powerful GWR locomotives. Their axle loading limited their use to the three main routes from London to Bristol, Plymouth and Birmingham. The Hornby model is beautifully trimmed with brass fittings and is tender powered by a Type 5 ringfield motor. |
