YEAR INFORMATION
1992 The beautifully detailed model has glazed cab windows, separately fitted wire handrails and injectors and is powered by Type 7 motor in the patented SSPP chassis with traction tyres on the centre driving wheels.
1993 The ST designation indicates a Saddle Tank type where the water tank is slung across the boiler thus pre-heating the water and economising on coal. Powered by Type 7 motor in the patented SSPP chassis.
1994 The J52 class originated with the Great Northern Railway in 1897 and passed to LNER and subsequently BR ownership. The model has much intricate detail and is fitted with a Type 7 motor in the patented SSPS chassic which provides a remarkable haulage capacity.
2002 The J52 class originated with the Great Northern Railway in 1897. The locomotives were at that time classed as J13's. However, when the GNR was absorbed into the LNER the locomotives were reclassified as J52's, a code that they kept into nationalisation and beyond. The model features sprung buffers and a high degree of separately fitted detail. Chassis is of an SSPP format incorporating a Type 7 motor.
