Note: Founded in 1869 in Sharpsburg Pennsylvania US, by Henry John Heinz. After a banking panic forced him into bankruptcy in 1875, he restarted the business with the help of his brother John and his cousin Frederick. In 1888 when Henry bought a controlling interest from back from his brother, he gave the company its current name H.J.Heinz Company.
